While the numbers look great, we still need to convince the members of the legislature to find permanent funding for the ongoing operations of the Downeaster.  Contact your representatives and senator by phone, mail and email insisting on permanent funding.  And while you're at it ask them when we can expect this type of service to Freeport, Brunswick, L/A, Augusta and beyond.

Trainriders Northeast is always looking for help from supporters of passenger rail service, both on an ocassionial volunteer basis and with your membership dollars to continue our efforts to expand passenger rail service throughout New England.  If you haven't already please join.

Click HERE to download the membership form, or call 207-879-7245 to ask how you can help by volunteering.
