Yesterday, at the Brunswick Visitor's Center, a NNEPRA plaque honoring Chairman Wayne Davis of TrainRiders/NE was unveiled.

It reads:

"In recognition of Wayne E. Davis, Chairman of TrainRiders Northeast. For his dedication to the restoration of passenger rail in northern New England and his enduring contributions to the Amtrak Downeaster Service."

With NNEPRA Executive Director Patricia Quinn and Senator Angus King at his side, Wayne shared his thoughts about Mainers and the state's Washington delegation. Senator King remarked that "it would not have happened but you." Wayne can be seen holding a box that contains an American flag that was flown over the U.S. Capitol in his honor - made possible by Senator Susan Collins.
