Help preserve And Expand Rail service in northern new england


Help Us to Reach Our Strategic Goals

1.     Increase the number of scheduled daily roundtrip Downeaster trips.

2.     Increase double tracking which will allow added trains and improve reliability.

3.     Increase speed, faster schedules which means increased satisfaction.

4.     Acquire more equipment, many trains are sold out.

5.     Expand service to northern Maine. Connect the three biggest cities in the state.

6.     Protect existing rights-of-way, track removal is the end of future use by rail. Both freight and passenger service is needed on existing rights-of-way.

7.     Continue maintaining and improving existing infrastructure, including relocation of the Portland Station.
